Melanie - You really kept at it! So many variations within this experiment. What did you think? Did anything rise to the surface for you? I LOVE the stamping with the purple and green (14th photo). Some interesting color combos here.I also love seeing your workspace - that scratch paper is becoming a beautiful painting! Melanie, I love that you just dig right and share it all. It's like we are sitting at your work table with you. Thanks!
Hi Michelle! I decided that I need to go to the DIY store and 'borrow' (!) another sample of wallpaper, perhaps with a thicker 'raise' to it. I discovered the joy of stamping over an area already stamped - because my 'stamp' isn't properly marked up I couldn't tell where the image would go which was a nice surprise!
This was such a fun set of photos to look at and to see the very different results achieved with colours. I am very impressed that this was a wallpaper sample too. Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteReally great to see all the different images you made with just one stamp! Love the color combinations. You could put a lot of them right on the wall.
ReplyDeleteMelanie, I agree: Any of these would make a lovely painting on the wall. They are gorgeous! Your colors are great, too.
ReplyDeleteSome of those are *very* cool. Love the colors in the first pic where we see the stamp inked up. And OMG that stamp! I want one...
